Atlassian publishes standard Marketplace End User Agreement terms that apply to apps sold through the Marketplace unless the partner supplies their own EULA. For a first paid app, use Atlassian’s standard terms: buyers’ legal teams already recognise them, which removes a step from procurement, and it avoids the cost of drafting and maintaining bespoke terms.

In the partner portal, leave the listing’s EULA set to the Atlassian standard agreement, and publish this page as a plain-English summary plus the extra commitments below. If a customer’s procurement insists on a partner agreement, the text below can be adapted with legal review.

Plain-English summary of what you get

  1. A licence to use the app on the Atlassian cloud sites covered by your subscription, for as long as your subscription is active.
  2. Everything is included in one plan. There is no higher tier that unlocks bulk revert, the security scanner or advanced reports.
  3. Free for up to 10 users, on the same terms.
  4. Your data stays yours, and the app never sends it outside Atlassian. See the privacy policy and security statement.
  5. If your subscription lapses, the history of a single work item stays available for free, deleted-item capture keeps running, and nothing already stored is deleted by us. Reports, exports, revert and restore need an active subscription.
  6. Support: first response within one business day (target: four business hours), at help@astrospray.com.
  7. Refunds: Atlassian handles billing and applies its Marketplace refund policy. We will not contest a refund request made within that policy.

Free access codes (evaluation and reviewer programme)

We issue signed access codes that unlock the full app without payment, for a named organisation and a fixed period. They exist so reviewers, pilot teams and community contributors can use the product properly before anyone pays.

  • A code is personal to the named organisation and site, non-transferable, and expires on the date it carries.
  • We may withdraw a code at any time; you keep your data either way.
  • Redeeming a code is not a purchase and creates no ongoing entitlement.
  • We never ask for a review in exchange for a code, and we never make one a condition of it. Say what you actually think.
  • If Atlassian’s Marketplace rules require that access to a listed paid app be granted only through Atlassian licensing, the codes are withdrawn and evaluation moves to Atlassian’s own free trial. (To confirm against the Marketplace Partner Agreement before launch.)

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app to break the law, to circumvent Jira’s own permissions, or to resell access to it. Don’t attack the app, the Atlassian platform, or other tenants. Restoring and reverting change your Jira data; you are responsible for doing so appropriately, and the app always shows a preview before it writes anything.

Liability, in short

The app is provided as-is, on the standard Marketplace terms. It is not a backup service; keep your own backups. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
