What it does
Two extra fields on your standard checkout screens: how to find the customer, and where a parcel can safely be left. The customer fills them in while they are ordering, which is the only moment they are actually thinking about it.
It saves going through order comments looking for the ones that matter, and it means the delivery driver gets told something useful instead of leaving a parcel by the bins on bin day.
If you also run the myHermes CSV exporter, both fields are written into the CSV automatically.
